With over six decades of experience, Jim practices primarily in the areas of business
and corporate law, taxation, trusts, estate planning and tax exempt organizations.
His standing among fellow members of the bar and the judiciary is reflected by his
selection to serve as president of the Omaha Bar Association, president of the Nebraska
State Bar Association, a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates
for fourteen years and the Executive Council for nine years, by his appointment
by the Supreme Court as a member of the Advisory Committee, Chairman of the Disciplinary
Review Board and as a member of the Constitutional Revision Commission (1969-1970).
Jim received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Iowa where
he graduated first in his law school class and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and
Order of the Coif.
