Brad works with families and small businesses in a multitude of areas, including commercial
transactions, financial and estate planning, trust and probate, real estate, municipal law,
and general litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Brad served as law clerk to both the Hon. Lyle E. Strom and the Hon. William G. Cambridge,
United States District Judges for the District of Nebraska. In 1989 he began his private
practice in Omaha. In 1993 he moved his practice to Hastings, Nebraska, until returning to
Omaha in 2010. From 2005 to 2009, he was a Senior Trust Administrator with Wells Fargo Bank.
He has represented numerous communities developing projects under Nebraska’s Community
Development Law, taught real estate law, and represented clients in the courts in insurance,
wrongful death, will contests, personal injury, eminent domain and numerous other matters.
He has been very active with the Nebraska Bar Association (NSBA), serving on the Ethics,
Budget and Planning, Legislation, and other committees. In 2009, he began a term as Chair
of the NSBA’s House of Delegates, the association’s governing body. Brad has served on the
board of the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation and is a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation.
He has also served on many community boards, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, and the
Hastings Library Foundation. Brad is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of
Nebraska, as wells as the United States Court of Claims.
